With the recent departure of star point guard Kyrie Irving is it time for Kevin Durant to announce his intentions to leave Brooklyn? If KD is in the business of trying to win more championships it’s hard to believe that he could rationally think that he can do that in Brooklyn. After being a part of two sets of failed “Big 3s” and now being left with Spencer Dinwiddie and a team in shambles it’s past time to wonder if the grass is greener on the other side because it definitely is. So that leaves us with this question, what are the best landing spots For Durant?

Phoenix Suns : I think the asking price would be quite high from the Nets if this is a legitimate option, any deal for Durant would have to include Deandre Ayton and one or more first round picks. This is an obviously a win now solution for the Suns so do they consider this worth risking their future?

Boston Celtics : I don’t believe this is a good solution for the Celtics. I think the Celtics are on the cusp of winning without KD and I don’t necessarily believe this is the time to break up the young duo of Tatum and Brown. I don’t think KD at this point in his career has any upside over brown who is arguably a top 20 player in the league.

Denver Nuggets : I think this is the landing spot that makes the most sense , I could see a trade involving Micheal Porter JR, Bones Hyland and picks being enough to put the Nets in a position to have a promising future. The trio of Durant, Jokic and Murray is enough to have the rest of the league living in fear for at least a couple of years.

Portland Trailblazers : The pairing of Durant and Lillard could instantly make these aging stars contenders in the west. Portland has an abundance of young players to lure the Nets in. Simons, Sharp and Little along with picks might be enough to get the job done.
